"Mike, don't let the spirited debates scare you off.  Rustle up some clubs (no need to spend 2K unless you have that kind of scratch laying around) and come visit an event.  Better yet, sign up for an event and get a set of rentals…"

Help a new guy.

Good evening golf enthusiasts,I have been in love with this game since the first time I could not feel a "black titlist/Balata" ball hit my persimmon club. RESULTS FROM THE MOUNTAINS

Cooler temperatures and gentle breezes greeted us at the Grove Park Inn in Ashville.  We played a modified Stableford format and Paula Zellers shot an 85 which gave her a winning total of 49 points. Mina Ubbing won the front side with 22 points and her husband, Bob, took the back 9 with a total of 20 points.  At midweek there was a possibility that the course wouldn't be open due to the amount of rain over the past few weeks.  The ladies played some outstanding golf over a good Ross course…See More

Washington Golf

I'm finally getting to play Ross's Washington Golf and Country Club in Arlington today. I used to play there regularly with steel but not since my Damascus Road experience with hickories. It's only appropriate, therefore, my host is a Catholic priest.
