Haggis Cup - Results and Overview - Markowitz and Elder CoChampions

Newcomer Brock Elder a PGA professional from Greensboro and Barry Markowitz are co champions of this years Hickory Haggis Match Play Tournament.  Brock is wonderful young man, with a well deserved 1 handicap.  Barry is 80 years young and this tie seemed fitting for the quality of play that both men exhibited.  There was talk of a playoff to determine the winner, but Barry offered the result and Brock and the rest of the field and your captain graciously accepted.  Barry has played in just about…See More

Hickory Clubs for sale

Hickory enthusiasts across the U.S.A, I’m having to part with most of my hickory clubs due to a physical decline over the past year. I can not generate the swing speed I once possessed necessary to get the better of these clubs due to fact that I’ve changed but my wooden shaft clubs are still as firm as ever.

Mostly the ones I’m selling off are Louisville Golf and Tad Moore recreations with a few of being hickory-period originals. Three…

potentially getting out of Hickory golf

I am considering getting out of hickory golf due to other commitments. Rich Schmidt and many others have done a fantastic job of organizing and lining up golf tournaments for our group.

I have a tremendous selection of old and new left handed hickory clubs that I may soon be selling.

If you know of someone left handed that has an interest in left handed clubs please let me know.

Phone is 252-714-4090, email is bryant@kittrellandarmstrong.com.

i will probably keep…
